Breakfast is its own restaurant category in the United States. Diners serve eggs, pancakes, hash browns and bottomless coffee from early morning, sometimes around the clock; breakfast and brunch restaurants open around 7 and close in the early afternoon; delis and sandwich shops sell egg sandwiches and bagels to go and switch to lunch by 11. Weekend brunch, roughly 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., is the busiest shift of the week, and well-known spots run waits of 30 to 60 minutes; many now take reservations or a waitlist through an app. Expect large portions, free refills on drip coffee and a tip of 15 to 20 percent for table service. Creperies, waffle houses and bistros round out the group with sweeter or European-style menus.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 5:30 amβ11 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (717) 699-5523. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is lyndondiner.net, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

York is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in York peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Came here with the fam for an Easter lunch and we had a wonderful time here. The place was packed to the brim like if one more person after us walked in the place would blow at the seams lol. We were able to sit right at the counter and got waited on almost immediately. I got the cinnamon swirl French toast and my sister got a grilled cheese and chili while my mom and dad split burgers and fries π π. This place was soooo good and our waitress was so kind and upbeat. She really made it a fun experience despite her being super busy. Food came out in a reasonable time from the super busy kitchen. The poor chefs couldnβt keep up but it was nice that everyone here especially on Easter was so nice and full of joy. We will definitely be back another time and hopefully sit in a booth because sitting at the counter was nice but the real diner experience is sitting in a booth. I also enjoyed how the menu wasnβt super huge either. It was one the front and back as where other places are ridiculously large and hard to choose from all the selections.

Very big place, and on a Saturday morning they got us seated immediately even though they were very busy. Waitress was an absolute gem. Food came out incredibly quickly and was amazing!! Portions were large. HIGHLY recommend to anyone in the area! We'll be in again anytime we're in the area!

OMG! We recommend this restaurant 100%!!! We came back to back (Thur/Fri) during the Thanksgiving holiday. We didn't wait long for seating and both days we got the same booth. We did have to wait for service a little longer than we thought. We kept looking for someone. We liked our waiter. But both days they never said their name. So, we said hi what's your name (first). The food, the portions, the taste = AMAZING!!! The scrapple, OMG! It was fried to PERFECTION!! Betta than mama's! So much we had to get containers to take home each day. The food was fresh! Yummy as well! Everyone seemed very nice, family friendly atmosphere for sure! The guys will love they have flat-screen T.V. Our table was watching the football game. We loved the size of the diner & their music. We wanted to dance. We enjoyed the service and food so much we told the manager before we left. We WILL be back!

The portions were very good. The downfall was when the burgers came out the buns were saturated in grease. The fries tasted as they were cooked in fish grease. The appetizer of mozzarella sticks was the best part of the entire meal. We ordered a sweet tea and it came out as a Lipton tea that was made as a fountain drink. Not very appealing to a customer that is not familiar with the diner. My wife decided to do a flight of Bloody Mary and the bartender was doing an interview so she had to wait for that to be completed before being able to enjoy it. She said that they were not the best, as it tasted like they skimped on the alcohol. We had our daughter with us and they did not even ask us if we needed a kids menu, they just assumed that she would order off the adult menu. We will not be back and I would not recommend this place if you donβt know it.
